Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. The current president is as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss is a California native, Buss grew up in an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was an estate tycoon, and later the manager of Lakers as well as other companies. In 1972, her parents split in divorce and she was left feeling emotionally abandoned. As she turned 19 old, she joined the family's business as general manager for the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. She then founded the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. Her first role was vice-president of the Lakers before she assumed the role of President of the Great Western Forum. Buss, her five brothers and sisters and their father who was the owner of the Lakers and was their controlling shareholder until the time of his death in 2013, inherited the ownership via an estate.
