Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963, to an incredibly musical family from Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. She's also the cousin of the singer Dionne Warwick. Her first singing gig was in the choir at the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood and by the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally along with their mother in Chaka Khan's hit song from 1978 Im Every Woman. Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more well-known, is an American anchorwoman reporter, as well as CNN's political anchorwoman and political correspondent.
