Born on the 25th of November, 1968 Jillian Shennessy was a energetic Canadian actress and singer celebrated for her significant contributions for American television. She was an actor in the American show Law & Order, where she portrayed prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy was also able to showcase her talents in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted, Chutney Popcorn, and The Acting Class. In addition, she produced and wrote these movies. The acting career of Hennessy began in 1988, when she and her twin sister were the characters in Dead Ringers. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story at Broadway in 1990. In 1993, Hennessy left the realm of musicals and into the science-fiction genre, playing the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. The following fall year, she was a part of the crew of the NBC hit crime show Law & Order in the role as assistant district prosecutor Claire Kincaid. She mesmerized audiences in this character for three seasons before the end of 1996 when she left. Parker is a regular in a number of series and films, among them RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys of the Side West Wing Angels and Angels in America. In these roles, she won an Emmy Award in 2006 and a Golden Globe Award in 2006 as well as an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker received an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part in the role of Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
